Some who’ve seen that I’ve been in broadcasting will say, “Wow, I’ll bet that was cool…not like a real job!” ((( Hear Mike )))
Actually, it was JUST like a real job: Managing and coaching a staff, researching customer expectations and strategically planning how to meet them, operating within a budget, marketing a product, solving all size and shape of problems, communicating up and down the corporate food chain, learning 'the web' and other new technologies, celebrating victories, re-addressing challenges, leading change, and continually coming up with new ways to do things better.
If these are skills valuable to you and a position you may be filling (in a media-related industry or otherwise), we should meet! All options are open when it comes to future opportunities. All industries. All possibilities.
What's your challenge? Whether you need an experienced leader of people or a manager of change, a competitive strategist, a budget pro, an innovator, or a copywriter (just some of the experience I can transfer your way)...if you want a person with a rare 50/50 mix of analytical and creative, and a 100% score for honesty and integrity, I could be your guy.
Please click on one of the resume versions (above left) to see the type of success I can bring and the skills that just might fill a need for you.
(You might even find some of the broadcasting-related web pages here interesting, or amusing!)

If you are (or were!) one of those media types, click here for details on an idea I had for an entirely new way to do local radio designed to engage the audience like very few present-day formats can. And, you can also join in our discussion of the state of radio programming today in our "I've Been Thinking..." forum: here.
